RACE OF CHAMPIONS DIRT MODIFIED TOUR PENNSYLVANIA SWING THIS TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY AT SELINSGROVE AND LINCOLN SPEEDWAYS. PLENTY OF BONUSES UP FOR GRABS.
BINGHAMTON, NY…The Race of Champions Dirt Modified Tour will run back to back events as part of its Pennsylvania swing this Tuesday and Wednesday June 19th and 20th. On Tuesday the RoC Dirt Modified Tour teams will head to the Selinsgrove Speedway for the second time this season. On Wednesday the teams will move to Lincoln Speedway for back to back events at two very historic facilities. Bonus money for the two days of racing is quickly adding up.
Race of Champions Series Director Andrew Harpell has announced that a $500 bonus is being posted to any driver that can win both Modified events on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday at Selinsgrove Speedway a $500 Small Block bonus is being posted along with another $200 bonus to the top finishing Big Diamond/Grandview legal Small Block driver across the line.
On Wednesday the “Battle at Lincoln” will pay $5,000 to win the 60 lap event. Last year Ryan Godown showed the quick way around by rallying late to pick up the win in the first Modified event held at the speedway in over 20 years. Godown currently trails Duane Howard by only one point for the lead in the RoC South Region point race. A special $300 bonus is being offered to the “Hard Charger” in this event courtesy of Ed and Laurie Ackerman as well.
Both RoC events this week will serve as South Region races and could really shuffle the deck in the regional standings.
